- 4 oz dry noodles
- 5 cloves garlic, finely minced
- 3 tbsp Terra Delyssa extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tbsp Sichuan chili crisp (plus more for topping, optional)
- 0.5 tsp chicken bouillon powder
- 0.5 tsp sugar
- 1.5 tbsp peanut butter
- 1.5 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp green onion, diced
- 2ā4 tbsp reserved noodle cooking water
- Cilantro & sesame seeds, for garnish
Instructions
- Prepare the garlic oil Ā· Finely dice the garlic. Add Terra Delyssa extra virgin olive oil to a pan and heat on the lowest setting. The oil should be gently warm, not smoking.
- Ā Slow-cook the garlic Add the garlic to the oil and let it gently simmer, stirring often. Keep the heat low and allow the garlic to slowly turn golden and fragrant, about 5ā10 minutes.
- Ā Cook the noodles Cook the noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Ā Mix in the chili crisp Ā· Turn off the heat and stir the Fly By Jing Sichuan chili crisp directly into the warm garlic oil..
- Ā Make the sauce In a serving bowl, combine chicken bouillon powder, sugar, peanut butter, soy sauce, and sliced green onion.
- Ā Emulsify the sauce Carefully ladle the hot garlicāchili crisp oil into the bowl. Stir immediately until the sauce becomes smooth, glossy, and fully emulsified.
